We had a great 3 day trip to Los Angeles for Ben to get his VISA so he can work
in Istanbul. Pictures will be posted here on our blog.
As of today, we have our tickets to Istanbul and will be leaving this Sunday, 19 February!

We are not flying business class and this makes me not so happy. We are flying economy.
Ben is given a pot of money for our flight expenses. This pot of money was based on the cost of 3 round trip business class tickets. Being as a business class ticket cost 78% more or almost 5 times more than a economy class ticket, we decided to fly economy and have the ability to fly back and forth more than 3 times in 1.5 years. We are also wanting to use this pot of money to fly you, Norbert and Will to Turkey and back. We are flying on Lufthansa and connecting in Frankfurt. This is a 10+ hour flight. We have 2+ hour layover, then a 2+hour flight on to Istanbul. We will arrive in Istanbul on Monday at 4:00 in the afternoon. Whew, our arms will be tired!
